Galaxy S25 Ultra Second Beta

Samsung has started rolling out the second One UI 9 beta update for the Galaxy S25 series, bringing more improvements and fixes as the company continues testing Android 17 ahead of the stable release. Samsung’s One UI beta program is designed to let users test upcoming software, report bugs, and help improve stability before the official release.

The update is 658.68MB in size and comes with the August 5, 2026 security patch. It is based on One UI 9.0 and Android 17.

Unlike the first beta, this release is more focused on polishing the software experience, fixing bugs, and improving existing features, while also adding new AI functionality.

New Galaxy AI Features Added

One of the most important changes listed in the changelog is the new AI features. Samsung is making Galaxy AI a bigger part of One UI 9, with the new software designed to provide more useful and personalized assistance.

Samsung’s official One UI 9 information highlights several AI improvements, including Now Nudge, My FanCam, Photo Assist and a more personalized Now Brief. Availability can vary depending on the device, region, and language.

The Galaxy S25 series is therefore expected to benefit from more of these AI-powered experiences as One UI 9 development continues.

One UI 9 Beta 2 Fixes Several Problems

The latest beta also includes a number of important bug fixes. Samsung’s changelog specifically mentions:

Fixes for bugs discovered in the previous beta

New AI features

Fixes for Bixby Vision translation errors

Improvements for temporary crashes in the Contacts app

Improvements for Wi-Fi disconnection issues

These fixes should make the Galaxy S25 series more stable for users participating in the One UI 9 beta program.

Stable One UI 9 Update Getting Closer

The second beta release is another important step toward the stable One UI 9 update for the Galaxy S25 series. Samsung has already confirmed that the One UI 9 beta program is expanding to more Galaxy devices and selected markets, including India, Korea, the UK, and the US.

Galaxy S25 users enrolled in the beta program can check for the update by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Samsung recommends backing up important data before installing beta software because beta releases can contain unexpected bugs.
