Samsung Pushes Android Pie Update for Galaxy M30

Last week Samsung announced it would launch latest Android Pie to their M series smartphones in the first week of June. But to surprise all the Galaxy M30 users, Samsung has released new Android Pie update before one week. The Galaxy M30, was launched after the Galaxy M20 & M10 though it is the first to get new version. Still, we haven’t got or heard new update for Galaxy M10 & M20 so this one is the first M series smartphone to get the latest version. The new update brings M305FDDU1BSEA/M305FODM1BSEA/M305FDDU1BSE6 firmware and downloads 1144.25 MB weight. The new Pie update is currently rolling out in India with latest May 2019 Android security patch.

Anyway, this is the good news for Galaxy M30 users that they can taste new version with Samsung’s new One UI interface. It brings new look & new feel for the devices and easy to access all the important features. The digital Wellbeing, Bixby Routines, Night Mode, Floating Mode, Scene optimizer for the camera and pre-installed Amazon Prime Video and many other features have been added into the update. Android Pie has lots of new features & improvements over the previous ones so it enhances user experience.

Android Pie Update

It is now rolling in Indian via OTA. Last week, Samsung had promised to rollout new version to these devices on June 3 onward. Previously, June & July were the actual schedule time for these devices. It also happened with Galaxy J7 Prime 2, which has got new version before a month from its official update release date.

To download & new Pie version manually go to, Settings – Software Update – Download Updates Manually. It has just released so you may wait some time to get your hands on it. We will inform you if there is any update for remaining M series phones.
