Samsung is now rolling out Android Pie update to its mid-range smartphone Galaxy J7 Prime 2. The latest firmware is currently available in India with May 1st Android security patch level. The new version will bring One UI interface to the device with G611FFDDU1CSD8 changelog to the firmware and it counts 1032 MB in size. This month Samsung has released new update to Galaxy J4+ & Galaxy On7 Prime smartphones with the same May Android security patch level. It is the fourth device to get May security update after which recently rolled out on Galaxy Note 8 & Galaxy A9 & On7 Prime smartphones.
Samsung was promised to provide Android Pie to Galaxy j7 Prime 2 in the month of June, but today, surprisingly it delivered new firmware changelog to this mid-range smartphone. With the latest software, users can taste One UI experience instead of older Experience 10 UI. The update suppose to improve battery performance and let it run smoothly in heavy usage, which we might come to any conclusion when we use it later on.
The Android update has just released on Galaxy J7 Prime 2 device so be patient if you have not got it yet. It may hit on your device in few hours. To check for latest update on your smartphone, go to Settings > Software Update & then hit on Download Update Manually.

It will bring split-screen function for the better reading with the help of Night Mode (Dark Mode) functionality.
