Fossil has unveiled next-generation Fossil Gen 6 Hybrid smartwatches with more features. The hybrid variants carry different classic looks to the smartwatches for both men and women. In terms of design, it takes some elements from other Gen 6 smartwatches and comes with more functions. It has launched in two variants – Machine & Stella. The Machine comes in a 45mm case size and offers Black, silver & Smoke color choices.
The Stella is a more feminine watch and has a 40.5mm case size. It is smaller than the other and offers Rose Gold, Silver & two-Tone color options. The smartwatch is capable to notify you about your incoming calls, messages, and app notifications.
To run this hybrid smartwatch Fossil packed two weeks of battery life. It doesn’t have a heavy load like Fossil Gen 5 or Gen 6, so the battery easily passes 14 days. It includes customizable watch faces and support for heart rate, sleep tracking, and step counters.
It supports other workout modes and has blood oxygen monitoring features. Also new is the Amazon Alexa voice assistant and microphone to take voice commands, Sadly, there is no space for the speaker to listen to the output voice.
For the new smartwatch, Fossil has developed a new companion app. You can download the app from iOS App Store & Android Play Store. The newly developed app also works with previous Fossil Hybrid watches. The Fossil Gen 6 Hybrid watches are available on the Fossil website for $229.
