Xiaomi has finally launched the first Pro version of its Mi Band series. There was news since Mi Band 5 about the special Pro model, and users finally got it. With the Mi Smart Band 7 Pro, users can expect more features in many corners. It comes with the same 1.64-inch screen, but it is much wider horizontally. It has an AMOLED screen with 326 PPI pixel density and 500 nits brightness. The wider screen will give more space for notifications & fitness details.
The key feature of the Band 7 Pro is its GPS, Galileo, Beidou, and GLONASS support. The regular variant never received GPS function, but now, users can use location-based services like route tracking and route back features.
Xiaomi claims to have over 180 brand new watch faces for the new smart band. Users can also set custom backgrounds with custom watch faces. Also, it has added a new ambient light sensor for automatic brightness. The recently launched always-on display feature is also there on the tracker.
Along with 10 running courses, it has 117 sports modes in the fitness and health section. Most of the exercises of Amazfit GTR 3 Pro, Galaxy Watch 4 & Apple Watch Series 7 are available to perform. The auto-workout modes, SpO2 tracking with a low-level alert, continuous heart rate, sleep rate, and stress monitoring are present on the Xiaomi Mi Band 7 Pro.
With a larger 235mAh battery, you can get 12 days of battery life in regular use, and 6 days in heavy use. To save it from water, it received 5ATM certification. It comes with 6 different color options and offers NFC function in regular variants. In China, it is available for $60 from the Xiaomi website.
