Galaxy Watch 5 Gets New Features with Samsung Health Update

Samsung has today updated the Samsung Health app with major features along with One UI 5.1 software support. The new app version 6.23.3.003 is now distributed across the major countries with newly added functions. It brings improved Share food and body composition measurement, Natural Cycle’s cycle tracking, a sleep widget, and a ‘Measure’ button for body composition & heart rate on a smartwatch.

The main highlight of the new app update is Samsung’s new collaboration with Natural Cycle. It will use Natural Cycle’s algorithm to measure the body temperature of women users in the menstrual cycle. It is said to be one of the accurate technology to track body temperature in a period and inform users about it.

On the occasion of Women’s Day which is on March 8, the company has rolled out the Cycle feature. Initially, the function is only available for Galaxy Watch 5 & Watch 5 Pro, which may come to the older Galaxy Watch 4 series.

Further, food and body composition health tools have been enhanced to make them up to the mark. Additionally, the Sleep widget is now available on the watch, and you can find it in the widget list. There is nothing new here, but they added new buttons to them.

The latest One UI 5.1 version is slowly releasing for most Galaxy devices. If your smartphone has received it, then you can install the new version. Yes, still you can update it with the older One UI version, though you can not use all the features.
