Now Huawei Smartwatches can Share Workout Data with Strava

Finally, Huawei Health users can synchronize or share their activities with Strava. Users can now link Strava with the Huawei Health app to permit data sharing. Since the first Huawei Watch GT, most of the users were demanding Strava support, and finally, the company listened to them. In the launching event of Huawei Watch D at the Berlin IFA 2022 event, the company officially announced it. In last October, Strava support was opened for limited users in Indonesia & Spain. Now, it is a global rollout, and all Huawei smartwatch users can use it.

Before it, Google Fit was the only option for users to synchronize their health data, and Strava is the second option to arrive on the Health app. Previously, users were using a third-party app called Health Sync to connect the app to the Strava account. Most of the users never found third-party apps secure and waited for official support.

To share your daily activities with Strava, open the Huawei health app. In the app, go to the profile or ‘Me’ option. Here, choose the Privacy Management option. On the next page, you will see the Data sharing & authorization option. Click on it. Finally, you can see the new Strava service, and you can connect or link with it.

Sync Huawei Health with Strava

To sync your activities, you just need to log in to your Strava account. Go to the official Strava website, and sign in to your account. The users of the Huawei Watch D, Watch GT series, Watch Fit series, Huawei Watch 3 & Watch 3 Pro will get a new sharing option.

Huawei has opened its Huawei Watch 3 AppGallary for third-party developers. There is a chance in the future, we may see the official Strava app in the AppGallary. Huawei Watches will soon get new HarmonyOS software, which will grab some attention from global app developers.
