Now, by digging more into the source code, we have found out the new smart band will run on Zepp OS software. Yes, the tracker will have all the features of home-nurtured Zepp OS. It will be the first fitness tracker to run on Amazfit’s operating system.
The Zepp OS operating system is for now running on Amazfit GTS 3, GTR 3 & GTR 3 Pro smartwatches. It is refreshed, more polished, user-friendly, and faster software from the company. It had announced last year with the Amazfit GT series, but in a little time, it has grabbed attention.
Now, slowly it is gaining popularity, and more developers are launching new apps in the store. After GTR 3 Pro, Zepp Health has opened third-party apps on Amazfit GTS 3 & GTR 3. Some rumors claim, that Amazfit Band 7 will also support third-party apps, but we take it with a grain of salt for now.
