According to a new report, Wear OS 3 has caused a surge in Google smartwatches. We know after Samsung adopts Google’s software on its popular Galaxy Watches, there is a boost in sales numbers.
Galaxy Watch 4 & Watch 4 Classic were the first devices to run on Wear OS 3. It broke the record for itself and Google’s ecosystem. In the year 2022, Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 5 & Watch 5 Pro are the new watches to run on third-version that too seen success in the market.
Slowly, other manufacturers are adopting the new Wear OS 3 version. Fossil has recently launched Fossil Gen 6 Wellness Edition & Diesel Griffed with the new latest software. Montblanc Summit 3 & Citizen CZ Smart run on the same software but are waiting for their launch dates.
The old and tested partner, Mobvoi is yet to reveal any of its devices on the Wear OS 3 firmware. Google is in talks with more companies in hopes to join the Wear OS ecosystem. After Samsung, Fossil & Mobvoi are doing well in Google’s platform, but that’s not enough to catch the Apple Watch.
