Samsung Dex will Get SoundAssistant Support in One UI 4.0

We all know that Samsung is preparing for the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 version later this year. The official team member has also hinted at the beta rollout date, and that could happen in September. All the features from Samsung for the One UI 4.0 update are still in the mystery box, but I think I just got a small piece of it. The official moderator has confirmed this feature or support, which will come in the next major update.

According to the GoodLock moderator at Samsung Community in the home country, Samsung will bring SoundAssistant support for Samsung Dex in One UI 4.0 rollout. He further mentioned the dedicated team is reviewing the function and it will apply in the next OS.

A user has specifically asked this question for Galaxy Tab S7/S7+, so obviously, the tablet will get this feature. Further, Samsung Dex supports most of the flagship models, so they will also receive it. Samsung Dex offers effortless connectivity between Galaxy devices to the monitor or supported TVs. Users can play videos, show powerpoints, and two screens at once.

Furthermore, with SoundAssistant, users can unlock new functions in audio. The SoundAssistant allows users to control individual app volume, activate personalized sound settings, support mono audio, and many more.

Samsung to open Beta testing for One UI 4.0 in September, and the final version could rollout in November end or in December. In the Galaxy Z Fold 3 & Flip 3 launching, Samsung has announced One UI 3.1.1 version. According to the previous report, Galaxy S21 will get One UI 3.1.1 update in August end, and later it will be prepared for Android 12-based One UI 4.0 beta in September.
