Google Pixel Watch Reportedly Offers Decent Battery Life

The upcoming Google Pixel Watch is carrying lots of weight on its shoulders. The Wear OS users expect many things from Google’s first smartwatch, and decent battery life is one of them. The watch could be a game-changer and might turn users to the Wear OS. The latest report claims the new smartwatch will pack a good amount of battery power that lasts long for a day. Google has finally recognized one of the major problems with its platform and could first step towards it.

As per sources at 9to5google, Pixel Watch may come with a 300mAh battery for a regular model. The LTE model will have more battery, but it hadn’t been revealed yet by any sources. We all know how poor battery performance on any Wear OS-powered smartwatches.

Samsung is also doing the same to tackle the major problem. The users with Galaxy Watch 4 have repeatedly complained about the poor battery. Also, in the recent few updates and after the installation of Google Assistant, battery capacity has dramatically decreased on both regular & classic variants.

The Google Pixel Watch would use an older Exynos 9110 chipset with a 10nm process, which could create issues if not optimized well. In the Google event, the company has revealed what it looks like and what features users will get. We can confirm it will run on Wear OS 3.0 version with other Google apps & services.

There is time to get our hands on the Google Pixel Watch. It is expected to arrive later this year along with Google Pixel 7 & Pixel 7 Pro smartphones. It will directly compete with Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 5 series & Apple Watch Series 8 in the second half of this year.
