Samsung has recently announced the Samsung Wallet app that combines both Samsung Pay and Samsung Pass features. Now, the official Wallet app has appeared in the Samsung Galaxy Store, and users can download it. With the Wallet services, users can pay with their Samsung Pay cards. Users can store different cards in the wallet and access them with just one tap. It will store all your boarding passes, digital keys, blockchain wallet, identification cards, and many more services.
The company says the app has been secured with defense-grade Samsung Knox protection. It also brought the Open Galaxy Ecosystem to the app by bringing Samsung Blockchain Wallet. Users can easily monitor and trade their cryptocurrencies with blockchain services.
It becomes easy to store the boarding passes, tickets, and customer IDs inside the Samsung Wallet. For the boarding passes, it has made a partnership with Korean Air, and the support will soon increase to other companies. In the ID section, you can store driving licenses, student IDs, and many more.
Along with payment services, users can control their cars with the app. The digital Car key feature first appeared in Samsung Pass and later it merged with Samsung Pay. The car keys will help you to open the car, start the engine, open boot space, control AC, open the rooftop, and enable or disable other functions.
The digital car key function is currently available in the US & South Korea. It supports selected Kia, Genesis, BMW & Hyundai cars. It will soon be available in other countries for more supported cars. The official Samsung Wallet app is now official to download in Galaxy Store.
