Garmin Instinct 2 Solar Coming with Solar Charging & Pulse Ox

The leaked firmware update confirms that the Garmin will be going to launch Instinct 2 Solar smartwatch with solar charging & Pulse Ox. The beta firmware version 0.31 has leaked online, which tells us more details about the upcoming model. As the name suggests, the next-generation Instinct 2 Solar will come with the Solar charging feature that the company has introduced on Fenix 6 Pro Solar. It means the users can charge the smartwatch’s battery by using solar power technology. The Solar status widget has also added to the watch so you will see the details.

Pulse Ox, the blood oxygen sensor is another feature that will come to the Instinct 2 Solar model. It is used to measure blood oxygen saturation in your body. Apart from that, the smartwatch will add OHR for swimming to get the heart rate data on your wrist while swimming. A new body battery widget and the added watch faces are also on the list, which has mentioned in the firmware version.

The current Garmin Instinct had launched last year with GPS, Glonass, and Galileo functions with the TrackBack feature. It builts for outdoor activities and extreme adventures. There is no detail about the display or other features of the next smartwatch. We may see more advanced features on the upcoming Instinct 2 Solar.
