Oppo & Mobvoi will Launch Next Watches with Qualcomm W5 Series Chips

Qualcomm just launched two new processors for wearable products, and now, we know who are they. In the race, Oppo & Mobvoi will be the first companies to take advantage of the new chipsets for their respective watches. The information has come from official sources, so we are sure about it. Oppo will launch its next watch with Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chipset, and Mobvoi will launch the next watch with W5+ Gen 1 processor.

The Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 chipset is more powerful than the other chipset, so we guess the next smartwatch will be a premium watch. Recently, we have known little about the upcoming TicWatch Pro 4, which might be it.

TicWatch Pro 4 is said to be coming with a larger battery, ECG function, premium quality design, and more features. It will also support Wear OS 3 version. There is a chance it will come with W5+ Gen 1 processor.

TicWatch Pro 4 Chipsets

The Oppo Watch 3 will receive support from Snapdragon W5 gen 1 processor. It is not fast as its other sibling, though we need to see its real-time performance. Oppo Watch series is companies main smartwatch lineup, and we might get more surprises.

The Oppo Watch 2 is missing from the international market. It is only available in China, but the third-gen Oppo Watch 3 might see other countries. There is no other information regarding both upcoming watches. Oppo has confirmed to launch Watch 3 in August, and there is no date for TicWatch Pro 4.
