The mid-range devices Galaxy M22 & M23 now receiving a major One UI 5.1 software update. The firmware brings some notable changes to the devices including the image-remastered tool. These are not flagship models, so Samsung has sorted out some major functions from them like Expert RAW support.
The incoming version for M22 is M225FVXXU5DWB8, and M23 gets M236BXXU2CWC1. Both get the February patch and bring new features to the Gallary app. The app gets GIF remastering, saves screenshots in a custom location, family share album, and image information. It also makes it easy to apply different color tones to selfies.
It loads the Smart suggestion widget, Battery level widget, and Dynamic Weather widget. Samsung Internet Browser took some additional features, and Bixby Text Call now supports English.
The new One UI 5.1 version for Galaxy M22 & M23 has been released in Brazil. It would soon come to India and other major regions.
