In the last few months, Boat has launched a couple of smartwatches in different segments. The Indian wearable market is going through tough competition from local as well as international brands. Along with Noise & Fire-Boltt, the Boat is also releasing some perfect wearables in the affordable segment. The new Boat Wave Lite is also the result of affordable pricing that offers some impressive features. It is a big smartwatch with a 1.69-inch rectangular display and has 500 nits of peak brightness.
Like an Apple Watch, it offers a physical crown to control the user interface and access the menu. All the Boat smartwatches have blood oxygen saturation features, and Wave Lite is no different. The blood pressure function which is found on Boat Storm is missing on this watch. It supports heart rate, sleep rate, and stress monitoring features. It comes with essential sports modes like running, walking, swimming, badminton, cycling, skipping, and basketball. Along with this, it is integrated with Google Fit & Apple Health functions.
To look stylish, it gets over 100 watch faces, but not sure about custom dials. The Boat Wave Lite shows all the texts and notifications from phone SMS and social media messages. On a single charge, it runs for seven days in normal usage. Finally, you can control phone music and phone camera from the watch. The new smartwatch has launched in India on the Boat website for Rs. 1,999. The first sale will start tomorrow, March 31.
