Samsung has released a new software update for Galaxy A30 smartphones in India, Thailand & Malaysia. The new firmware version is A305FDDU2ASE5 and counts 459 MB download size. This update brings Slow Motion function to the camera and improves compatibility with third-party apps. As per the changelog, it enhances compatibility with the Telegram app. The new piece of software comes with the June 2019 Android security patch. It is the first time Samsung has added the Slow Motion feature to the device and brings it closer to the other Galaxy A50 & Galaxy A70 smartphones.
The update is currently rolling out in these 3 mentioned countries and soon it may hit other markets. Samsung will notify you if an update is available for your device. If you want to check it manually, then you can do it by selecting Settings – Software update – Download & install option.
Samsung had been released a previous main update to improve the quality of GPS performance, proximity sensors & Audio quality of the device. Samsung Galaxy A30 is already running Android Pie 9 update with latest One UI interface so this update is to add missing functions to the device.
