Oppo Watch 3 & Band 2 will Launch Soon

The first-gen Oppo Watch became an overnight sensation in the wearable market. All of us thought it will be the breakthrough smartwatch that will promote Wear OS. Initially, it grabbed more customers than any other Wear OS watch, but it failed in many areas like regular software updates. Later, Samsung launched Galaxy Watch 4 series with Wear OS 3, and the rest is history. Now, Oppo is preparing itself for Oppo Watch 3 smartwatch with new features.

The first-gen Oppo Watch with Wear OS platform was launched in many countries, but not Oppo Watch 2. The company restricted Watch 2 to China and never released it in any country. This might change with Watch 3 launching.

According to the source, Oppo Watch 3 would launch three variants. It is because the company has decided to launch eSIM support for the smartwatches. It will let users use it without smartphones. Also, there will be a Wi-Fi function for extra internet connectivity.

Oppo Watch 3 Launch Date

Oppo might come with the same rectangular display as an Apple Watch look-a-like. We are not sure if it will be an Apple clone or only get a rectangular display. In China, it will run on Oppo’s home-nurtured operating system, and the world market will get the Wear OS version.

The Oppo Band 2 is another product company will announce at the same event. We don’t have any details about it but will receive basic features like SpO2, sleep score, workout modes, and two weeks of battery. The launching date for both products has to be confirmed yet.
