Fitbit not always releases new software updates for its gadgets and wearables. It sometimes releases new updates if there is an issue or they have introduced new features. For example, its flagship models Fitbit Sense & Versa 3 have not received new essential updates in a month. Aside from all of it, now Fitbit has released a new update for Fitbit Charge 5 & Fitbit Luxe fitness trackers. The reason is to launch the Find my Phone function on both these wearables.
Find my Phone is not a new feature for Fitbit or other users. It is there for a long time, but the company has decided to seed it now. Its rivals Xiaomi & Samsung have it since Mi Band 5 & Galaxy Fit trackers.
With the new tool, you can easily find their smartphones in a lost place. It will work if your smartphone is in a range and it is connected with Bluetooth. There is no chance to find it if it has been disconnected or switched off.
Apart from that, it has introduced some fresh and new watch faces to the Fitbit Luxe. Users can change clock faces with a new one from the official Fitbit app. To change it, go to the Today tab, then tap on Profile, and then your image. After that, select Gallery and finally choose the Clock.
For the Charge 5, The update brings battery improvement as some users have complained about poor battery life. There is no battery concern for Fitbit Luxe at all. The latest firmware for both trackers is released gradually, and soon you will see it in your country.
