Galaxy S22 Officially Receives One UI 5

After two and half months of beta testing, Galaxy S22 series is now receiving the final or stable One UI 5.0 version. It packs many new features, improvements, bug fixes, and notable changes to the existing services. With the new Android 13 version, Samsung has improved animation speeds. Users will notice the speed and its benefits in everyday usage. The update is available for both beta as well as non-beta users.

Also with this new update, Samsung has created a new record by delivering firmware to a maximum of Galaxy S22 users. According to the report, in a day Samsung has dispatched a new version to more than 20 million users worldwide.

It has sent new firmware to all the major countries across the continents. As we confirmed with users, the users in India, Austria, Italy, the UK, the US, Germany, Poland, Ireland, France, South Korea, Serbia, Crotia, and many other countries have received it.

It could be the first time Samsung has done a such wonderful job. Still, there are many countries left behind for the second wave. Those users will get the new One UI 5 version by the end of this month or early next month.

To check for the update, open Settings, then head to Software update, and tap on Download and install button. The firmware size is 2.8GB and it comes with an S90xBXXU2BVJA number. For now, only Exynoss 2200-running phones are getting the new version, the remaining Snapdragon-powered phones will get it soon.
