In recent, Samsung has to deliver quick fix updates to solve the issue with GOS and device performance on its flagship models. The Galaxy S22 series was also hit by that software, which was later fixed by the company. Now, with a fresh start, Samsung is dispatching an April security patch to Galaxy S22 series devices. The new flagship models have become the first to receive Google’s latest April security update. A new version will improve the camera performance as well as cover usability.
As per the changelog, the software enhances camera usability with flash support for close focus operation. Further, it has optimized UHD30/60 video recording performance in low memory conditions. On Galaxy S22 series, users can see a list of notifications when swiping to the right on View Cover. Finally, it has solved minor issues on the devices and enhanced their overall security.
The latest software update for Galaxy S22, S22+ & S22 Ultra is rolling out in South Korea, Germany & the UK. The changelog in the UK & Germany refers only to system stability and security, so in these countries, you should manually check it. The firmware version S90*NKSU1AVCK is available in South Korea and the version S90*BXXU1AVCJ is in European Countries. It takes 1553MB in size, so it is better to use a Wi-Fi connection. To download the update, go to Settings – Software Update, and look for any pending update. The software will soon release in other countries in the coming days.
