Galaxy Note 10 Series Update Improves Call & Earphone Quality, Fixed Lock Screen Issue

The first update for the new Samsung Galaxy Note 10 5G & Note 10+ 5G is now rolling out to improve call quality & earphone quality of the device. The new firmware version G971NKSU1ASH6 for Note 10 5G & G976NKSU1ASH6 for Note 10+ 5G is now releasing with the latest Google’s August security patch. The software is 116MB in size on Note 10 5G & 132MB in size on Note 10+ 5G model.

It also fixes the lock screen issue by resolving the top bar burn-in in Always on Display mode and improving after image phenomenon on the lock screen.

There is another firmware releasing in India with a size of only 4MB. The firmware version N97*FXXU1ASH5 available in India for both Galaxy Note 10 & Note 10+ smartphones. The new update will improve the call quality of the both Note series phablets. As per the changelog, the update will improves call stability and the overall quality of the device by fixing minor issues. But some users have mentioned they have seen improvements in the camera quality.

In the first update, Samsung has enhanced the overall quality of the Galaxy Note 10 & Note 10+ & the version ends with ASH5 has already dispatched in many countries. The firmware version ends with ASH6 is the new one that is now serving in South Korea and the coming days or week it will hit in the US regions. To install a new update go to Settings and head to the Software update.
