OnePlus is planning to launch a new wide range of wearables later this year. According to the source, the company will launch two new TWS earbuds, a smart band, and a smartwatch in Q2 2022. In the first half of this year, OnePlus was busy launching its flagship and mid-range smartphones. It has introduced OnePlus 10 Pro smartphone to counter Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max & Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra devices. It has also launched a new OnePlus Nord series smartphone to counter Galaxy A73.
Now as we are moving towards the end of this year, OnePlus wants to focus on its wearable lineup. A new leak from Mukul Sharma, a smart band & smartwatch will see the next successor of predecessor wearables.
Last year in March 2021, the company launched OnePlus Watch & OnePlus Band. Both wearables were not that famous among users due to their mixed reviews. With the upcoming OnePlus Watch 2 & OnePlus Band 2, it might set the bar high.
OnePlus first has to minimize or totally squash known bugs and other issues on the wearables. On the previous watch, users faced many problems, which were later tried to solve in a software update. The same goes for a smart band, which lacked in many areas.
It may also introduce some new features that users get from other rivals like the Amazfit GT series and Xiaomi Mi Watch series. We hope this time, the company opens support for third-party apps for the Watch 2 model. Finally, we can expect the smart band will be capable to counter Mi Band 7, and earbuds to Galaxy Buds Pro 2.
