Garmin Marq Series now Getting Stable 22.10 Update

Whenever Garmin releases its Fenix 6 series smartwatches, it never fails to update the Marq series watches. Last week, the company announced a stable 22.10 software version for the Fenix 6 devices. Now, the first 10% of users are getting the latest version with plenty of new fixes. Along with Fenix 6, Garmin has also announced the same stable 22.10 version for all the Marq watch variants. Where it has dispatched for 10% of users on Fenix watches, 40% of Marq users have added in the first slot.

In the public version, the fixes come to several health and fitness services. Plenty of sports modes have witnessed bug fixes and overall improvements. Garmin has also tried to fix major battery issues in the latest software. The battery drain problem was here for a long time, and finally, the company promised that it has fixed it. Garmin Marq 22.10 Update

Fixed an issue where Run/Walk/Idle total time didn’t equal Total Time displayed on watch/Garmin Connect (now all times when totaled should match Total Time).


Fixed an issue where a user could not delete a Strength workout from the device.


Fixed an issue with Metronome hotkey not working in the Walk activity.


Fixed an issue in the Jumpmaster activity where the listed elevation data would not properly update.


Fixed an issue that could prevent the device from booting up properly.


Fixed a possible crash when completing Strength workouts that didn’t have any rep counting steps.


Fixed an issue where “Battery in Days” would report 0 in Connect IQ apps.


Fixed an issue causing incorrect cycling VO2 max values.


Fixed an issue where golf courses could fail to load.


Other minor improvements and bug fixes.

The first 40% of Garmin Marq users will see the new 22.10 firmware version and it will directly rollout on your smartwatch. The latest version applies to Garmin Marq, Aviator, Marq Adventure, Marq Driver, Marq Golfer, Marq Commander, Marq Athlete, and Marq Captain smartwatches.
