Redmi Watch 3 & Band 2 launched in China with some new functions to match with next-gen wearables. The Redmi has launched these wearables along with some other products in the home country. The company which is a significant player in the smartphone world is not in the limelight regarding smartwatches and smart trackers. Over the years, it is trying to do its best by launching new products, but that is not going well.
With the Redmi Watch 3 & Band 2, it might want to separate itself from Xiaomi’s vast Mi Band lineup. It comes with an Apple Watch look-a-like 1.75-inch square display with enough 600 nits of brightness, 70% screen-to-body ratio, and 341ppi pixel density. It packed with a 289mAh battery to run for at least 12 days in moderate usage with GPS is activated.
The other improvement on the watch is GNSS (GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, GALILEO) instead of only GPS technology. There are around 200 watch dials and over 120 sports modes on Watch 3. It can track blood oxygen level, heart rate, sleep quality, stress, and menstrual cycle.
The Redmi Band 2 offers a 1.47-inch display with enough dials to choose from. It counts only 30 sports modes with a connected GPS function for advanced results. The 210mAh battery will win two weeks of battery life again when you use it without power-consumed functions.
The smart band to has all the essential functions to track your health. Both wearables are available to purchase in China. It will soon land in other regions at a fair price. Users in China can now buy these products from the Redmi website and other online retailers.
