Its been one and a half years since Fitbit has launched the new successor of Fitbit Versa 3 & Sense. Last year, it has introduced Luxe & Charge 5 fitness bands, and since then, the company has sat quietly. After a major break, Fitbit could launch new wearables very soon. The APK files spotted by 9to5Google claims three major devices are on the way to seeing the light of the market. This year, Fitbit will launch Versa 4, Sense 2 & Luxe 2 wearables. The first two are premium watches, and the Luxe 2 is an affordable activity tracker.
The source code that appeared in the APK file decodes code names Hera & Rhea for the Sense 2 & Versa 4 smartwatches. Both may carry the same design with 336 x 336-pixel resolution. The Luxe 2 tracker has 124 x 208 pixels, though there is no information about the screen size. These days, many brands are increasing screen sizes, and Fitbit might follow the same path. At this moment, the leaked files don’t reveal any major features of these wearables.
After the acquisition of Fitbit by Google, many experts claim the next Fitbit watch will have a Wear OS platform. According to the leaker, they didn’t have to find any such information regarding Wear OS on upcoming Fitbit devices. On Versa 4, we could see ECG & BP function as first-gen Sense. The upcoming Sense 2 model could get skin temperature function and real-time BP feature in supported countries.
