One UI 4.1.1 Update Now Rolling Out for Galaxy Tab S8 Lineup

The Android 12L-based One UI 4.1.1 software was released by Samsung with its latest foldable phones. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 & Flip 4 are the first models to use it, and now Samsung is spreading it to the older devices. The Galaxy Tab S8 series tablets are now the first to get the major One UI 4.1.1 update. As promised before, the company is fast to deliver the update in August for its Galaxy Tabs.

In the new version, Samsung has added tons of new features. The main purpose of One UI 4.1.1 or Android 12L is to improve the experience of foldable phones and tablets, so we can see these features inside the version.

In Multitasking, Galaxy Tab S8 receives Switch between apps quickly, Quickly open apps in split screen or pop-up window, Open app pairs quickly, Easily switch from pop-up view to split screen, Change your view with a gesture, and show app names in the apps edge panel.

Further, It has added features to the Extract & scan text and new calling options to the tablets. In the calling, users can now see who’s calling and the video call option with Google Meet. The emails have received a new enhanced add-on for document attachments.

The major One UI 4.1.1 update is rolling out for all the Galaxy Tab S8 series models. It is currently available to download in South Korea and some European countries including Germany, Italy & the UK. The update will soon release for other Galaxy tablets and Galaxy foldable phones.
