According to the new report, Apple may soon launch a new ‘Pro’ variant along with its other regular models. Mark Gurman of Bloomberg has claimed Apple will soon launch a rugged extreme sport watch for the users. It is the first time we are hearing some new and interesting rumors about the Apple Watch.
Further, the report mentions a giant 2-inch display for the upcoming watch and a larger battery for athlete endurance. Compared to the current Apple Watch Series 7 45mm model, it will be 7% larger and produce more battery power.
The wearable market is going through tremendous changes. Many companies are launching big and tough smartwatches like Amazfit T-Rex 2 Pro, Garmin Fenix 7x Solar, and some Indian smartwatch makers like Boat & Noise.
Apple’s rival Samsung has the same in the mind for Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. Samsung is also the first time add a Pro variant to its Galaxy Watch lineup. To do that, Samsung has decided to completely terminate the Classic variant from the series.
For Apple, it could announce this new rugged and sporty model in the next watch session. It could be called Apple Watch Series 8 Pro or Series 8 Extreme. The next watch will run on WatchOS 9 version and will have skin temperature features.
