New Realme Watch Gets FCC Certificate, Possibly Watch 3

The new Realme Watch has been spotted on the FCC website, and we might know the name of it. It has also passed through India’s BIS site to clear the way to enter the Indian market. It could be possibly the upcoming Realme Watch 3 as some leaked specs hint towards it. The model number that appeared on the FCC certification site is RMW2013 and has IP68 water resistance ratings. Along with it, we can say the watch will have a square display like its predecessors.

Realme’s entry into wearable was in 2020 with the original Realme Watch. Due to the limited features, it was categorized as a smart band instead of a true smartwatch. Later, in the same year, it launched Watch S Pro. The Watch S Pro compared with the first-gen watch carried premium build quality and some additional features like in-built GPS. In 2021, the company introduced Realme Watch 2 & Watch 2 Pro. The Watch 2 series also received some essential functions with impressive design.

This year, we could see more features including advanced ones on the tracker. We could expect a SpO2 sensor, in-built GPS, enhanced heart rate sensor, more health features, and an iconic design. The upcoming Realme Watch 3 could launch in the second half of 2022. In the second half, we will see major smartwatches – Galaxy Watch 5, Apple Watch Series 8, Fitbit Sense 2 & Amazfit GTR 4 Pro in the market.
