Samsung Galaxy S21 Starts Getting June Security Patch

The last year’s flagship Galaxy smartphones Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ & Galaxy S21 Ultra are now receiving a June security patch. The rollout of the devices has begun in the European region, and Germany is the first country to download it. The June security patch started on May 19, eleven days earlier for Samsung devices. The Galaxy Tab S7 series tablets were the first to witness it. In the latest security patch, the company has squashed known bugs.

The firmware changelog in the shared screenshot only mentions device stability and security improvement. As per the official announcement, Samsung has killed dozens of security and privacy-related vulnerabilities. We don’t have a list of those bugs and enhancements, but you will notice as soon you install the new version.

Galaxy S21 June Security Patch

The newest software version for Galaxy S21, S21+ & S21 Ultra comes with a G99*BXXU5CVEB identity number. To install the latest software, navigate to Settings – Software Update, and tap on Download & install option. The other countries in Europe will receive the June patch in a matter of time. The countries in Asia, America, and Africa may get it in the coming weeks.
