Garmin Introduced Descent G1 & Descent G1 Solar for Divers

After launching a specific smartwatch for airplane pilots, Garmin has today introduced a new watch for divers. As per the company, it has made Descent G1 & Descent G1 Solar, especially for Divers. Unlike the Fenix 7 series, both variants come with a 45mm case that counts in a 0.9-inch display. The working display is small compared to today’s almost all smartwatches. Garmin builds it for divers, though it wants the general audience to consider it. The new watch supports Connect IQ Store to look out for the latest apps and watch faces.

The Descent G1 gives numerous exercise modes and up to 200 dives modes. It let users share dive performances, review them and track them from the Garmin Dive app. It measures fitness age, recovery mode, and training status along with regular features. In the dive mode, it runs for 25 hours and 124 days in smartwatch mode when charging over the solar edition. It supports Garmin Pay in a contactless payment system. For women users, it has a women’s health tracker.
