Garmin announced both models this week, featuring top-of-the-line hardware and cutting-edge software. The Garmin doesn’t talk too much about the new watches but specification-wise, both are categorized in the high-end segment. The new HIIT 2.0 workout profiles, Health Snapshot, Real-Time Stamina & improved VO2 Max are all part of the new wearables. Apart from that, the best apps are available in the Connect IQ to fill the remaining gap.
The Garmin App Store doesn’t get much time to flourish compared to Apple Watch Store & Wear OS Play Store. Despite the fact not many developers are part of Garmin groups, there are several critical apps available to download. We would have listed other music apps or critical apps, but at this moment not many apps support new watches. The Spotify app is not bad on Garmin, but its love is more on Wear OS, Tizen OS & WatchOS. Slowly, Spotify is catching up with other platforms with better performance and other aspects.
