As per the new report from 91Mobiles, the OnePlus may soon launch an affordable smartwatch for an Indian audience. The next rumored smartwatch could be named OnePlus Nord Smartwatch, and it will be priced under Rs. 8,000 price tag. The launch might happen alongside the next OnePlus Nord 2T, Nord 3, Nord CE Lite & OnePlus 10 Pro smartphones. The Nord series from OnePlus is known for its affordable price range, and that hints at the cheap price of the next Nord smartwatch.
The low price could again indicate the watch will compromise on some basic features. It may receive health features like heart rate, sleep rate, stress, various sports modes, and possibly blood oxygen level. It might lose functions like camera controller, memory storage, and eSIM functions to maintain the price. It will have the same round color touchscreen display with a handful of watch faces.
The first-gen OnePlus Watch had launched with all the necessary features, though not to compete with premium watches. We have also seen special edition & Harry Potter editions of the OnePlus Watch. This time users want a wearable that could replace their watch. In the Rs. 8,000 price segment, the watch will compete with Huawei Watch Fit, Honor Watch ES, Amazfit Bip U Pro & Mi Band 6.
