One UI 5.1 to Launch with Galaxy S23, Firmware Spotted

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra

At the introduction of One UI 5.0, Samsung hinted it will soon release another One UI 5.1 version. It further hinted at a key feature from the upcoming software version. Now we can say it is working on it, and in the launch of the next flagship smartphone, it will release the update. Today, a source on Twitter spotted a firmware build for a new version, which could be Samsung’s promised One UI 5.1 software.

The older devices will have to wait for a few weeks after launching as it will first release for Galaxy S23 series. As per sources, the next Galaxy S23, S23+ & S23 Ultra will be announced in the first week of February.

By looking at Samsung’s strategy, we can assume the new models will receive it first and later come to other devices. The Galaxy S22 series and Galaxy Z series might be the first to get the update. The other flagships, mid-range phones, and tablets will join later.

One UI 5.1 Update

It is in the mystery box what the company has to offer. A few weeks ago, it hints to introduce an advanced lock screen customization option that has locked in the current version. Along with Galaxy S23 leaks, we might also have a chance to learn more about the upcoming version.

The spotted version is S90xEXXU2CVL7 and is in the testing phase. It is not the final build-up and we could see more numbers in testing. The Galaxy S23 series will be the most crucial device for Samsung, and it will do its best to launch advanced software for it.
