The leaked prices for Galaxy Watch 5 series at European retailers suggested a slight price slash than predecessors. As per the latest pricing reports from the DealnTech website, the next Samsung watch will be cheaper compared to the current Galaxy Watch 4. It is a huge surprise if this becomes true, and same time good news. Last week, the Same source has claimed a price hike for the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Flip 4 & Galaxy Buds 2 Pro devices.
The listed prices are for Galaxy Watch 5 40mm, Galaxy Watch 5 44mm, and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. The report mentions Galaxy Watch 5 40mm will be priced at 259.98 euro. The 44mm model will cost 286.90 euro, and the bigger Galaxy Watch 5 Pro will be available for 430.89 euro in the region.
Now, if we compare these prices with Galaxy Watch 4, then the 40mm model of Watch 4 is available for 269 euros. The most expensive Galaxy Watch 4 Classic 42mm version is available for 369 euros. There was no Pro model last year, so we can’t compare it.
The cheaper price tag does not mean Samsung will put a hammer (of course, there is no touch bezel) on some of its features. On the next watches, we will see bigger batteries, a new skin temperature function, Wear OS 3.5 version, and the Watch 5 Pro model.
These leaked prices are not official, nor has Samsung confirmed it. The real prices will be unveiled at the next Samsung August event.
