The rich library of watch faces is the most-liked part of Mi Band 5. The watch face storage has stored plenty of themes for every kind of user, including custom dials. On the occasion of Christmas & new year, Xiaomi had introduced two new dials to the smart band. Now, in the latest V1.0.2.54 update, Xiaomi has brought fresh looks to the Mi Band 5. The added watch faces are from the popular Call of Duty Mobile game. The fresh themes have faces of all the famous characters from the CoD game.
Along with it, some users on social media have spotted the “Cards” option on the global version of Mi Smart Band 5. The global version doesn’t support the NFC function, so it useless at the moment. The Cards menu is empty at this time, but I guess, it could be the preparation to launch the NFC version in the overseas market. Last year, Xiaomi had launched Mi Band 4 NFC in Russia & some European countries. There is a chance, we might see Mi Band 5 NFC model outside China in the coming weeks or months.
Talking about Call of Duty Mobile faces, you can sync them from the Store option in the Mi Fit app. In the fresh dials, you will get characters of Captain John Price, Urban-Tracker, Phantom, John “Soap” MacTavish, Outrider, Commander David Mason, and Ghost – Simon Riley. To install the new version on the Mi band 5, first, update Mi Fit to the latest 4.9.0 app version. Later, your smart band will download & install a new update automatically, when you open the Mi Fit app.
