Mi Band 5 Update Tracker: New V1.0.2.76 Update Now Rolling Out
Update (04 July): Again Xiaomi took the time to release new software for the fifth generation tracker. It is now releasing firmware version V1.0.2.76 for the Mi Smart Band 5 in major countries. The last update for Band 5 was released at the end of August 2021. It means almost after a year, the company released a new version. As changelog only mentions fixing some bugs, we can’t expect anything new in the update. For better performance, install new software on your smart band.
Update (30/08): After a long gap, Xiaomi’s fifth-gen Mi Band 5 is getting a new firmware version. The latest software comes with firmware version V1.0.2.66 to the wristband. With the latest piece of code, the company has enhanced the user interface which is smooth & faster in loading. As per some users, you can see menus & functions load much faster.
It doesn’t bring any new functionality to the activity tracker. To check for the latest update, make sure you are on the latest Mi Fit app version. Later, you will get notified on your smart tracker.
Original News: Xiaomi is now releasing the latest version of the tracker in all the major countries. The new version identified as V1.0.2.46 now rolls out to provide more stability and to improve the overall quality of the Mi Band. The changelog doesn’t reveal anything about the new version, so we have to dig more into the Mi Fit features or the tracker. The last version with major changes had dispatched with REM sleep and camera remote control features, but this one is not the major one.
As per the leaked source code & the data from other sources, Xiaomi will soon launch a new body temperature function to measure it and compare it with other external devices. It says the features will not only available for Mi Band 5 but also for Mi Band 2, Mi Band 3, Mi Band 4 & Amazfit Band 5. At this point, we don’t have too much information about the major changes in the upcoming firmware, so we have to wait a while for its dispatch.
To get the V1.0.2.46 update, you have to install the Mi Fit app to the newer 4.8.0 app version. Later, open the Mi Fit app, go to your Xiaomi band, and then head to Check for Updates. The new firmware version is available to install in major countries including the US, the UK, India, and many other countries.

Samsung is Now Serious About Camera, Launching Camcyclopedia
Camera-related features and camera performance on Galaxy devices are among the topics that are most discussed by users. Yes, in the Galaxy Camera Workshop event, which was recently held in South Korea, Samsung announced about new service. As it is named the Camcyclopedia, it will be dedicated to camera-related questions, answers, feedback, tips, and other announcements.
A user who participated in the Galaxy Camera Workshop mentions that the new service will guide users on how to get the most from their camera as well as support them when they face issues.

In addition, it is said that CamCyclopedia will be launched with the purpose of Galaxy Camera Wikipedia so that many users can ask questions about the camera and understand the camera more easily.
He further added that Samsung has promised to improve camera quality and its related features. It will also enhance the features of the Expert RAW app in upcoming updates. Finally, he said, Samsung has showcased progress and development of unreleased products, which could be upcoming foldable phones or Galaxy S23 Ultra.
It is not revealed when Samsung will launch the new Camcyclopedia. After launching, the service will be part of the Samsung Members app.

Third One UI Watch 4.5 Beta Update for Galaxy Watch 4 Fixes many Issues
Samsung is now releasing the third One UI 4.5 beta update for Galaxy Watch 4 series. Like the second beta update, it also focuses on various bug fixes and improvements. As per the changelog, it has fixed the tile backup and restore problem in the watch face GUI section. It also mentions improving the system UI crash problem when pushing Home button during scrolling. It could mean some users on the previous version were facing this issue.
In the update, the Alarm, Stopwatch, Timer, and World View services have also been enhanced for better usability. In exercises, the bicycle activity will see enhancements, and also users will notice an improvement in automatic exercise performance.

To install the new One UI 4.5 beta version, first, you have to update Watch 4 Beta Plugin to the new 2.2.11.22.063011 app version. The new firmware version R8**XXU1ZVFA is now released in the US & South Korea for Galaxy Watch 4 & Watch 4 Classic.

Wear OS 3.5 & One UI 4.5 Features for Galaxy Watch 5 Leaked
The next Galaxy Watch 5 & Watch 5 Pro will run on the One UI Watch 4.5 version, and we don’t doubt it. Currently, Samsung held One UI 4.5 beta update based on Wear OS 3.5 for Galaxy Watch 4 series. It has recently sent a second installment of the beta firmware with many bug fixes. Now, the leaker has revealed what the final version will look like and what it will offer. The images prove with the new software, Samsung has made its watches more advanced. It has cared about every detail and offered new features. The watch faces will show more options on the first screen. It will show weather, activities, heart rate, and compass details.
It is now possible to switch SIMs from the smartwatch. The LTE variant users will really find it useful to switch between SIM 1 & SIM 2. A QWERTY keyboard from Samsung has finally arrived on Galaxy Watch. Till now, users were rely on Google GBoard & other third-party keyboard apps.

In the keyboard section, it has become easy to give input with handwriting and dictation. In other improvements, Samsung has given its best to audio enhancement and color correction features. There are also some other minor changes we will see in the next update.
Some of the images shared by leaker are in longer screenshots. It could mean that Samsung may also allow longer screenshots on the watch like on Galaxy Watch 3. The final version of One UI 4.5 version will release with Galaxy Watch 5 series.

Alpha 22.73 Update for Fenix 6 Series Released
This month is really busy for Garmin. It has released major software updates for all its major smartwatches including Fenix 6 & Fenix 7 series. At the beginning of June, it released a stable 22.10 version for the six-gen Fenix watches that brought plenty of new functions. Now, in the same month, Garmin is releasing a second update for the Fenix 6 lineup. The latest 22.73 Alpha version is now rolling out for the watches.
The new alpha version includes eBike activity support and a power key control menu item for RCT. The heart rate monitoring has received an updated version, and now, it will alert you when your heart rate exceeds the normal value. The VO2 Max feature which is helpful for regular exercisers will now get four weeks of data. Further, you will receive better VO2 Max results while cycling.
The other addition is the Reference Point feature, and the remaining are fixes to several functions. For clarification, read the below changelog for the 22.73 Alpha version.
