The new update for Samsung Galaxy Watch has released in the US & South Korea that improves tracking for swim. Another notable change is, automated sync of alarm has now disabled from the paired smartphone and improved system reliability. The latest firmware R810XXU1CSG4 is currently rolling out, and it is 15.36MB in size. It is available for both 42mm & 46mm models of non-LTE version. It is a small update, but most users use their Galaxy Watch for workout activities, and swimming is one of them. Improved tracking will give them better results in calorie measurement during the swimming.

Last week, Samsung released new firmware for Gear S3, which had only got a solution to disable automatic sync of alarm, and missed to get improvement in swim tracking. The software update is now available in the US & South Korea, and other countries may join soon. To install the new version on your Galaxy Watch, open the Wearable app on your paired smartphone and check for the latest update.

After the One UI update, it is another firmware that brings improvement to this last year’s premium smartwatch. The most important features like new watch faces, quick panel, battery optimization, updated graphics, and improved Samsung Health features, have already been installed on the watch.
