Samsung’s One UI 9 beta expansion is picking up speed across its budget-friendly A-series lineup, with the Galaxy A35 becoming the latest handset to receive testing access. The rollout follows closely behind similar beta launches for the Galaxy A36, A55, and A56, signaling that Samsung is pushing hard to bring its newest software experience to mid-range users well ahead of a wider public release.
For Galaxy A35 owners in South Korea and India, enrollment is now open through the Samsung Members app. Interested users simply need to look for the One UI Beta banner, tap to join the testing program, and download the update, which arrives as the ZZH5 firmware build.
This latest expansion comes on the heels of the Galaxy A35’s own beta debut, which notably ships with the September 2026 security patch baked in, a smart move that keeps beta testers current on protection even while trying pre-release software. That firmware weighs in at roughly 2.1GB and carries the ZZI1 build designation.
The Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A56 aren’t far behind either. The A36 received its Beta 1 update in India, with an installation size of about 2.3GB, while the A56’s beta program launched shortly after the Galaxy A57’s own rollout began.
Across all these A-series devices, One UI 9 promises refreshed visual design, smoother performance, and deeper integration with Samsung’s core apps. As always with beta software, users should expect occasional bugs or instability; that’s the nature of pre-release testing, and Samsung is actively collecting feedback to iron out issues before the stable rollout.
With four A-series models now in the beta pipeline, Samsung appears to be accelerating its One UI 9 testing timeline ahead of a broader mid-range rollout in the coming weeks.
