Galaxy M21 & M31 Now Receiving One UI 2.1 Camera Features

Samsung’s two Galaxy M series smartphones, Galaxy M21 & M31 are now getting some One UI 2.1 camera features. This Month, Samsung has dispatched Android 10-based One UI 2.1 update for Galaxy M31. And Galaxy M21 has come up with Android 10 since the launching. Now to make them more advanced in the photography, the company is releasing new camera features. The update has brought lots of goodies to the devices in the camera section that we have seen on most of the flagship & upper mid-range devices. For talking about the Galaxy M21, first time it is receiving One UI 2.1 version, so you will see other features too. The changelog hasn’t mentioned any other features, so we have to dig them out.

The firmware version M315FXXU2ATIB is now rolling out for Galaxy M31. The Galaxy M21 has bumped to M215FXXU2ATI9 version. The size of the software on M21 is 1292 MB & the size on the M31 version is 489MB. The updates bring My Filter, Single Take & Night Hyperlapse features to the M21 & M31 to enhance the photography.

For your information, My Filter option allows you to create custom filters with the colors and the style for future shots. In the Single take feature, you can use the shutter button to capture series of pictures and videos. Lastly, the Night Hyperlapse mode allow you to shoot low light hyperlapse videos. The Pro mode is also the part of Galaxy M31 camera and it has seeded in the last major version. The One UI 2.1 contains Music Share & Quick Share, but still there is no sign of them.

Further, the Galaxy M31 will now show you remaining battery charging time to fill up the full battery. It is quite useful for some users, as they will know in how much time they will get full battery. Apart from that, Samsung has improved overall quality of the devices and provided more stability by squashing know bugs. The latest firmware versions for Galaxy M21 & M31 are now rolling out in India. You can check the updates manually from Settings – Software Updates.
