Samsung has today released & then suspended Android 11-based One UI 3.0 Beta update for the Galaxy Z Fold 2. Now, as per the initial users who installed the beta version on their foldable phone has found a serious issue. The major bugs came with a firmware is not letting any users enter the home screen. The bugs is not taking any password, fingerprint or other form of unlocking method. It is not the problem with one or two users, but almost all the users have complained it on the official Samsung Member app.
Many users on the Samsung community have shared the posts and the images regarding the issue. Previously, Samsung had postponed One UI 3.0 Beta program for Galaxy S10, Z Flip & Fold 2 because it found many major issues with the Note 10 Beta version. Later this week, Samsung confirmed to fix all those problems and released second beta for Note 10 series and the first beta for Galaxy Z Flip. Now, again the new bug found in the code has forced the company to postpone the beta firmware for Galaxy Z Fold 2.
The beta program for Galaxy S10 lineup, which supposed to start this afternoon in South Korea may release on the tine. The Z Flip has yesterday received this beta update, so the Z Fold 2 has become second foldable phone to taste it. The update is now rolling out in South Korea for the Z Fold 2 5G model. The official Beta Operation Manager has yet to comment on this matter, so I will update the post, when I hear more from the team.
