Galaxy S23 Series will be Qualcomm Exclusive, Confirms Qualcomm CEO

Galaxy S23 Ultra Battery

The famous tipster Ming-chi Kuo was the first person to claim Qualcomm exclusivity for the next Galaxy S23 series. A few days ago, he has claimed that there won’t be any Samsung Exynos variant for the upcoming Galaxy S23 series. Now, Qualcomm itself has confirmed it and said they are the only manufacturer to build processors for the next flagship models. In a Q&A session, the Qualcomm CEO answered the analyst and confirmed it.

An analyst asked about the partnership with Samsung, and Qualcomm’s CEO answered that there is an agreement for the next seven years till 2030. Further, he mentioned that they are on the way to becoming the exclusive processor supplier for the next Galaxy phones, books, and tablets.

With the Galaxy S22 series, Samsung had already reduced Exynos-powered models from the market. For example, India always received Exynos-powered models, but last year with Galaxy S22, the company launched a Qualcomm-based model in the country.

The decision may not favor Samsung for some reason, but it is a cheering moment for users. Almost all Samsung users demand a Qualcomm-powered model instead of Exynos. Now, finally, they can receive it in their country.

The Galaxy S23 series will have Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset to boost the performance. The modem will be made on TSMC’s excellent 4nm node that gives superfast 5G speed without halting battery power. Samsung may introduce Galaxy S23 smartphones in February next year.
