Samsung is now releasing new software updates for its nearly five-year-old & four-year-old smartwatches. The Gear S3 & Gear Sport are now receiving improvement updates to enhance the user experience of these old watches. Last year too, Samsung has pushed a little update for the Gear S2 smartwatch. Now again, the company has proved how it cares about its older models. New versions haven’t included any new features, but provide stability to the Wi-Fi connectivity.

The firmware version R760XXU2FUD1 has rolled out for Gear S3, and the Gear Sport is getting firmware number R600XXU2FUD1. The changelog doesn’t reveal anything but Wi-Fi stability. Though you can install the new version, and look if you find any changes. The major updates for these two watches were dispatched in May 2020. In the previous version, Samsung had seeded Always-on Display, Bixby function, new watch faces, and Samsung Health improvements.

The new software versions for Gear S3 & Gear Sport have released in South Korea. Head to the Galaxy Wearable app to install it. These are not only smartwatches that have received Samsung updates. This morning, the company has released new updates for Galaxy Watch Active & Active 2. The Galaxy & Galaxy Watch 3 have also gained new versions last week. It means, in this month, Samsung has covered all its watches by launching new firmware.
