The important update for Samsung Galaxy Buds has resolved issue of the right earbud. It has fixed sound loss on one side of the earbuds during ambient sound mode. The new changelog with firmware version R170XXU0ASE1 is now rolling out to fix the issue and it weighs 1.35 MB. Since the last major update, most Buds customers have been complaining about the right earbud problem, which always stuck at low volume, for some it stuck to 1% volume. This issue was not there when Samsung had launched Galaxy Buds, it may have come up with recent software version.
The new version also improves Bluetooth connection to make it more stabilize. We have not seen any problem nor listened any complaint from customers. Still it is good to see Samsung has worked on it. In new changes, as per changelog you will hear notification sound when you activate Ambient Sound or Quick Ambient Sound. Notification alert has now applied to Ambient Sound when selected via long press.
The new version is all about minor & major fixes, specially, sound loss fixes for right earbud. To improve overall quality of your Galaxy Buds you must jump to latest software version. You can install new version via Galaxy Wearable app. To check it manually, go to Settings – About Earbuds – Update earbuds, here hit on download option.
