WearGPT Brings ChatGPT to Wear OS, Works on Galaxy Watch

Amazfit has launched a new ChatGPT-based watch face for its smartwatches recently. It was the first to bring this new AI tool to the wearables. Not anymore. An indie developer has launched a new WearGPT app for Wear OS watches. It will allow users to ask queries to the WearGPT app to get the answers. It is an early version, and just landed in the store, so there might be some unfinished work on the app.

It is a simple app for now but loaded with all the essential features. You can type queries using Samsung Keyboard and GBoard, or use voice input. If you are asking why we need this tool on the smartwatch, then there are certain things you can do with the ChatGPT.

I have personally asked some questions, and most of the time it is accurate. Sometimes, it crashes while giving inputs, and that’s natural for the new app. The man behind the app promised to make it stable and accurate in the coming updates.

To test its abilities, I have asked some queries. First, I asked where is Mumbai, and yes it responded correctly. Later, I need to know about the new Samsung Galaxy A54 smartphone. Well, this time it gave me a wrong answer about some specifications.

It also knows calculation, and it provides accurate answers. I had asked for some basic calculations like the addition of 34 & 67, multiplying of 100×10, and square of 15. It has also listed PMs of India, but the information is incomplete due to word limitations.

To download the app, open Play Store on your smartphone or Wear OS watch. Search for WearGPT, and install it. I have used it on the Galaxy Watch 4 & Watch 5, and it works fine.
