Samsung has finally released an update for Galaxy Fit that allows users to control music from the band. Galaxy Fit tracker missed this function during the launching, but now Samsung listened to the customers and released the feature. To get the latest version, you have to update the Galaxy Fit plugin from the Android Play Store or iOS App Store and later you will receive the new R370XXU0ASK1 firmware version in the Galaxy Wearable app. As we got the report, the latest update is available in the US, UK, Italy, South Korea & India.

Samsung has also introduced 31 new watch faces to the Galaxy Fit. In the previous September update, Samsung had brought 14 new watch faces on the wearable, this time it focused on informative watch faces. Instead of look, users will get a date, time, heart rate, steps and whether information on the main screen. Some users have noticed Do not Disturb feature is now more responsive than before. Previously DND function was taking a few seconds to respond and this time Samsung has taken care of it.

Galaxy Fit Update

With the music control feature, you can now play music songs using the Galaxy Fit. You can use it to play the next songs, previous songs or pause or resume it. The name of the current song will also display on the main screen. The music control function is already available on Mi Band 4 & Honor Band 5 fitness bands since the launch date. Now Samsung Galaxy Fit users can use their wearable band to control it. The update is currently rolling, so it will take some time to reach in all the countries.
