Moto G6 users in India are now receiving latest Android Pie update on their smartphones. The upgraded firmware version is PPS29.55-24 and it is 1400MB in size. This is the stable Android Pie version with January 1st Android security patch. Update has already rolled out in Brazil & US for Moto G6, Moto G6 Play & Moto Z3 Play. Moto G6 Plus has already got Android Pie version back in January in India. At this moment only Moto G6 is the new device to get new version in the country. Along with latest interface, this update brings several new features and improvements to the device.

Android Pie update to this mid-range smartphone brings the changes that includes the latest interface, Split-screen function, Do Not Disturb mode, Adaptive Battery, improved Notification panel, that is now you reply to messages directly from notification panels. Other notable features of the update are Always On display, restructured keyboard with various new options and improved Settings, Gallery and other few changes.

Samsung is the first company to bring new Android Pie update to its all premium smartphones that includes Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S8 & Galaxy A9. Xiaomi & OnePlus also installed new version on their latest smartphones. Now after the waiting finally Motorola is releasing Pie update on its major devices. The Motorola Moto G6 is one year old smartphone, launched with 4GB/3GB RAM variants and 32GB/64GB internal storage option. In India the device was originally priced at Rs. 15,999. At this time, in the price discount it is available to purchase for Rs. 12,999 from Amazon & Flipkart.

Users from India can download the update on their device and install the latest Android Pie 9.0 version on Moto G6.
