If we are right, then Google will launch the next Pixel 8 & Pixel 8 Pro in October. There is time to get some real information from the company, though in the meantime some sources have successfully gathered primary information. The source at Smartprix and leakers at @Onleaks have received official images of the smartphones. Let’s first talk about the specifications for both models. It claims both Pixel 8 & Pixel 8 Pro will carry a 128GB storage option in the base model.
Most rumors have been claiming there will be a 256GB variant, but the new source believes in a 128GB memory. The Pro model for the first will see a 512GB memory option. In the premium category, both iPhone 14 series and Galaxy S23 series offer 512GB memory, so it is a necessary move.
The entry-level Google Pixel 8 may bring Samsung ISOCELL Gen 2 sensor, 12MP ultrawide, and 11MP selfie cameras. On the other hand, Pixel 8 Pro to have a 64MP main ultrawide sensor, 48MP telephoto, and 11MP selfie cameras. Of course, we could see a significant boost in both camera systems.
Google will pack next-generation Tensor processors in new phones and we are 100% sure about it. The question is how much speed we will get in real-life tasking. It says the regular model to pack with 4485 mAh battery with 12W wired and 24W wireless charger. However, we are not sure about the battery power of the Pro model.
Further, the Pixel 8 would come with a 6.17-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and Pixel 8 Pro gets a 6.7-inch display with the same refresh rate. By looking at the leaked images, I don’t see any difference in design and built quality.
