Galaxy Watch 3 & Active 2 will soon Get Snore Detection

For a long time, there is no major update for older Galaxy Watch 3 & Active 2 smartwatches. Now that will be changed this month as Samsung officially announced to release of a major update for them. Samsung has today announced that it will bring some advanced functions of Galaxy Watch 5 & Watch 5 Pro to the older Tizen-based wearables. The company mentioned it will bring some new watch faces, ECG & BP function in 24 more countries, and Snore detection functions to the watches.

The first major function that we want to mention here is the snore detection tool. With the function, users can record their sleep on their phones to find out the snoring data. It will help users to get a deep insight into their sleep quality.

The snore detection function is already available on Galaxy Watch 4, so basically, Samsung is not bringing it from Galaxy Watch 5 series as they mentioned in the statement. Further, ECG & BP functions will available in 24 more countries. I hope, the US gets the BP function, and countries like India should get both functions.

Galaxy Watch Active 2 Update

The new Galaxy Watch 5 series truly has some amazing watch faces and they are already available for Galaxy Watch 4 series. Now, users of Tizen-based watches can also use them, but Samsung mentioned it will only bring two faces. At the moment, we are not sure which are they.

The company announced it will release new software with these features from September end. Currently, it is rolling out One UI Watch 4.5 software for Galaxy Watch 4 series. The Galaxy Watch Active 2 & Watch 3 will not support the One UI Watch 4.5 version, so the company is bringing some new features.
