Huawei Watch 4 will Soon Get a Blood Sugar Level Feature

Huawei’s CEO Yu Chengdong has announced to launch of an advanced blood sugar level function for Huawei Watch 4 & Watch 4 Pro. In a blog post on Weibo, the official person mentioned launching this feature for the new watches in the coming months. It has also appealed to users to take part in its beta testing to understand it better before launching it for all users. It means the feature is not ready, and there are lot of testing to happen.

Only users in China can take part in the program. As per the company, it has collaborated with an unknown third-party firm to present a blood sugar risk management function on Huawei Watch 4. The company hasn’t disclosed the name of collaborated firm, but the thing is, the primary testing has already begun.

A posted image suggests Hyperglycemia Risk Management tool describes your sugar level from low to high. It could also guide users on how to improve their sugar levels daily.

The tool will measure your intake of high-sugar and high-fat foods and make healthy habits. Huawei notes the tool is only for guidance and not for medical purposes. The users in China with Huawei Watch 4 can take part in early access and examine its accuracy. It may not come to older HarmonyOS-powered smartwatches. The release date and availability are yet to disclose by the company.
